The law grants buyers a withdrawal period of 14 days for orders on the Internet or in the catalog. Orders on the Internet as well as in the catalog are considered to be distance sales. Goods may therefore be returned within the period of 14 days. According to § 355 to 359 BGB the withdrawal period applies in principle. The revocation removes the binding of the customer and the seller to the purchase contract. The revocation must be made by a declaration by the customer to the delivering company. In his declaration, the customer must clearly state that he is canceling the purchase. No justification is required for this.
